Some like him, some don't. I'll leave him nameless, but those who were there know. Here's my two cents. It was said best by Smiley on our board, and I felt I would include it here for you, to either boo or cheer.

I will not dwell on the politics of the weekend, as I do not believe it is the place of a soldier to be involved in such things. I will give however this suggestion. When an American, any American, finds his freedom of speech denied, thoughts drift back to rememberances of another time when laws were made to remove the inalienable rights of American citizens. If you don't like what someone says you may osterisize them or chose not to listen, but you may not shut them up or gag them. If no other right is true, this one must always be. That is the law.

Anyway, he put into words what I believe anyway. I'd put it on the MLK board for the man in question to read, but I've forgotten my password. Would someone who frequents that board please cut and paste it to there, and give credit to Sgt Bob Allen, as it's his words, even if it's shared thoughts?
